new things are never perfect...

Today I looked at the very small particles of dust at the dial of my one week old Americas Cup with a loupe and suddenly I thought:

Am I the only one who always finds those little flaws on new tings? Small enough to be not noticed by quality control of the manufacturer but big enough to grow on you after a few days?

I know that real perfection only exist in people´s mind, not in a real product but a little scratch on the dial of a Rolex Submariner here, a unsharp DSTN screen around the corners of a HP Journada computer there, little lints of dust on the dial of a SMP America´s Cup...

...is it really just me? Am I simply to picky? Do other people just go out, buy something and enjoy it without bothering about little imperfections and cosmetic flaws? If so, how can I learn to do the same?

Please help me out of this dilemma...

;-)
