Some Good News About an ETA Watch..

After all the talk about problems with ETA-based Omegas stopping suddenly or not winding, I thought I'd share some GOOD news about my Bond SMP.

Two weeks ago I bought a new winder for it. I'm not one of those guys who checks accuracy on a regular basis much, but today I checked it against the atomic clock. In 14 days of combined wear time and time on the winder, the watch has gained exactly 4 seconds. That's about +0.29 seconds per day!!! This new winder keeps the watch in a slightly different position than my old one, so I can only guess that my particular watch likes it better. For the past two years it had been running at about +1.5 seconds per day, but I knew my other winder was getting old and noisy, so I suppose the change did the watch some good.

This is by far my favorite watch, so I'm glad to see it is keeping such great time after 3 years of wear.
