Sure did. I had the No date Sub and the Sea Dweller as my options, besides the Planet Ocean. Did an AD tour, first scrapping the PO, even though it is a beutiful watch. Then the Sea-Dweller had to go. Strangely, it felt a bit too small (the dial) and also a little to bulky. This surprised me a lot, since I'm used to heavy "tool-watches" such as Breitlings and the likes. But, it was just not Rolex to me.

I've always disliked the cyclop of Rolex. But, and this surprised me even more, when I tried both the no-date and the date on, I actually liked the date better...Don't ask me why, 'cous I really can't answer...
Anyway, I made my choice and went for it.
It feels SOOOOO gooood.
