The watch was ordered through the local AD. I know they are genuine because I've met people from Omega visiting the AD. The watch was ordered specially for me and took about two months to arrive as part of a consolidated shipment from Omega in Switzerland. I could not say if the watch was a new manufacture or an old piece at the factory waiting to be bought. I've also been in contact with the regional Omega rep who also wears the same watch and insists the bracelet is all the same dull finish. Unfortunately, Omega do not give any logical reason for the difference, only say the watch is correct. I find it frustrating to deal with them sometimes. - Vic
