I doubt the FTC would get involved over this and besides how much pressure could a US consumer protection organisation leverage over a Swiss Company? Don't forget Switzerland isn't even in the EU.
I think that the change could have come as a result of pressure from people like yourself Dell, and others here on the Forum. Omega would be pretty stupid to upset the people here, you guys have a huge influence on people buying Omega's.
So don't do yourself down Dell, Consumer power and customer relationships are key to big business ..how many Omega's do you own? ..I'd probably say that the people here on this forum are amongst Omega's best customer.
Now Dell, it would be really helpful if you could flex your consumer muscle and ask them to lower their prices a little, I'm about to buy my first Omega any day now ;-)
