SCAN DAY - 1970 Yellow Seamaster 200

Hi Guys,

Here's one of my favourite Seamasters & one you don't see too often.

The Case Ref is 166.068

My particular watch has a movement serial number 30,xxx,xxx. I asked Omega, a couple of years ago, about info for the watch. They replied that the movement was sold to an AD without a case. So it looks like my watch had a new movement fitted at some stage in its past. ( Who knows maybe a previous owner had some water damage ).

The "Japanese" seamaster book lists this model as being available from about 1970 onwards.

It's an Automatic 565 movement.

I actually bought it from a German in Australia. It arrived on a Sinn strap. Fortunately I found a matching bracelet & endpieces.

there is also a version available with a "plain" grey dial. Does anyone have one ?

Enough waffle, enjoy the pics...

All the Best

Steve
