: Actually, Ashford was accused of selling
: watches with serial numbers removed, watches
: that were secondhand or refurbished as new,
That is old news. The serial number issue was true over a year ago. I never heard whether there was any proof or settlement on the refurbished issue.
But Ashford learned from the sins of their past and now handle all watches properly. That became especially critical when they went public.
While they are NOT an authorized dealer for Omega, they are now a public company and thereby have a much greater reputation to maintain.
I have purchased several watches from them (brands that they are authorized dealers for) and have been happy with their service.
