Omega dumped GMT from Bond promos today! *LINK*

Omega SA has now changed its "Watch Selections James Bond" page yet again - for the fourth time in four weeks, by my count.

They have finally acquiesced to my insistance that they not represent any watch among this selection if it has not actually been worn by the character in the films. Their latest action removes the 2535.80 GMT from the Bond page, and all Bond references and the latest gun barrel background from the 2535.80 GMT product page.

The complete text of my latest communication w/ them is included on my website (link below). However, I'd like to Post the key point of their response here.

Further to your e-mail of 3 March 2006 you are kindly requested to note that the Seamaster 2535.80 GMT model has been removed from the OMEGA internet site.
Yours faithfully

Duly noted.
