I have this fear of sending my smpc in the future to Omega for servicing of the seals. As with cars, they say that once you open something up, its never the same once you put it back together. I have had this experience with my other watch whereas they opened it up to fix the bezel and it came back to me scuffed in various places. That little red painted dot on the back of the seamasters implicated that the watch had not been opened if it does not have a crack. But the dillemma I face and I think other watch owners do is if in fact, the watch gets sent away, it probably would not look the same as when you sent it. Does anyone here ever had this done to thier watch? Gotten the seals replaced or checked and other things happened to it? I don't know. I am not saying it will happen. I am sure the QC of Omega is very good. But I just want to make sure and feel confident about doing it in the future. Thanks to whom can help.
