Note to Steve and Keith: With Chris' permission, his post might be a good one to attach a link to so that future newbies can read for themselves the kind of feelings of rage, betrayal, and helplessness that someone can wind up with after they tried "to save a little money" by going to the gray market.

Chris: I've been through the same thing, and it really, really sucks. My deepest sympathies. Hang in there, and keep ragging on these jerks every chance you get! Look what Dell can accomplish by being persistent!!
