While we're not going to find out immediately, at least "the clock will start ticking" on one frame of reference when the current Bond mechanical, the 2531.80, is discontinued later this year. At that point, its numbers become fixed, and the only way to own "a vintage Brosnan Bond" (unless you want the quartz) will be to buy used. Supply and demand forces.

Curiously, one bellwether, the 007 Limited Edition 2537.80, hasn't been able to get original issue price in the vast majority of sales I've seen, since January 1.
