Re: Omega papers

: Is the number stamped on the C.O.S.C.
: certificate the watch's serial number or the
: movement number?

The serial number is an 8-digit number. The movement is a 4 digit number. What Omega calls the "watch no." is the serial number.

: Also, I have noticed that some warranty cards I
: see displayed along with watches for sale
: have the AD's name stamped on them and the
: date hand-written in but no ref. or watch
: no. Does that make the warranty invalid?

You can write that information in yourself if you ever have to send the watch in for warranty repair.
