Re: OMEGA IS KING
In Response To: OMEGA IS KONING ()

: Dit is wonderlik om te verneem dat selfs in
: Amerika, waar so baie produkte beskikbaar
: is, OMEGA ook so hoog aangeslaan word.
: Suid-Afrika is nie 'n uitsondering nie en
: geniet OMEGA ook hoe aansien. Ek self is
: baie lief vir OMEGA en besit 'n paar van die
: horlosies. Ek koop egter wel ander horlosies
: ook soos DUGENA, ROTARY, SEIKO, PIERRE
: CARDIN, ORIENT en self BUREN. Ek dar egter
: die heel graagste my OMEGA's. Ek verkies ook
: outomatiese horlosies omdat dit soveel meer
: betroubaar is. Hulle is wel nie so akuraat
: soos kwarts nie maar ek dra liewer 'n
: horlosie wat bietjie tyd wen of verloor as
: een wat glad nie loop nie!!

: Boeregroete uit Suid-Afrika, dit gaan julle
: geweldig!!!

Here is the translation of the above posting:

It is wonderfull to know that even in America, where there are so many products available,Omega is so well appreciated.South Africa is no exception and Omega is held in high esteem here.I myself just love OMEGAS and own a
few of the brand.I have bought some other watches as well i.e. DUGENA,SEIKO,PIERRE CARDIN,ORIENT and even BUREN.I prefer to wear my OMEGAS,though.I also prefer automatics because they are so reliable. They may not be as accurate as quartz watches but I'd rather wear a watch that gains or loses a bit of time than one that doesn't run at all!!

Special greetings from South Africa, may all go well with you!!!

A question for you,Pieter: Don't you think it might be considered inappropriate to post a message in Afrikaans on a forum of which 99.99% of the correspondents are English speaking?
