If I recall correctly, the AC Chrono is 15mm thick

I just measured my 45mm Planet Ocean, and it's about 15mm thick as well. I would imagine the 42mm PO would be about the same size and thickness as your AC Chrono.

I believe the PO is thicker and heavier than, for instance, the standard Seamaster Professional because it has a 600meter WR rather than 300meter. Thicker case and crystal to resist those pressures.
