The accusations against Ashford were about removing serial numbers from the watch itself, not that they were not providing Omega warranty cards. Wristwatch.com just admits that they cannot give an Omega purchaser a warranty card with a dealer's number on it. For the record, I believe that Ashford is a straight outfit now. I also agree about shopping around - I picked up my own SMP chronometer a few years ago at Corrigan's (now Baily Banks & biddle) for 35% off.
