I prefer Omega and believe that they are a superior watch compared to RW on all points: durability, materials quality, movement, prestige, and history (Constellation in particular). I would include style in that group of qualities, but that is really subjective element. I am not into quartz movements, and for that reason, I am disappointed with the limited offering of ladies automatics from Omega. RW does have some nice looking watches, and they will likely all be quartz models. My recommendation is that if you choose an RW, stick with the higher end of their product line. The mid and lower end of the RW line are definitely overpriced for value-received and are not of the same quality of their top of the line models. I wouldn't be concerned with resale value - how many women do you know or have known that have sold or would sell a watch?
