Inexcusable...
In Response To: Just an update ()

: In January I anounced that I purchased a
: Seamaster Aqua Terra 2502.30, however 10
: days after I returned it, requesting one
: with the 2500C movement. After going through
: everything with the manager, he finally said
: that he would request it from OMEGA. so
: finally yesterday, after waiting from late
: January I finally get a call saying my watch
: has arrived. When I see the watch, it turns
: out to be another 2500B version. The manager
: of the store (in
: Canada>Ontario>Toronto>????) is not
: really the type of guy I would have ideally
: done business with. I dont know if its
: because I am not his typical clientell or
: what, but after all of that wait, I
: basically got the same watch, so who knows
: what kind of effort he put out on my behalf,
: my guess is "not much" anyways I
: will settle for the 2500B, and wear it in
: good health. once I figure how to take some
: decent pics I will (I never knew it was so
: hard. Its so fuzzy from close!) anyways,
: thats my story guys

When I ordered my Aqua Terra from my AD, I told him I wanted caliber 2500C. He pulled out his jeweler's loupe, knew right where to look for the 2500C stamp, and made sure I got the watch I wanted. 2500C has been in Aqua Terras for at least the last 6 months, if not longer, so for your local AD to keep getting you "B" versions tells me he's getting in "old stock". You are paying a lot of money for this watch and deserve to get EXACTLY what you want. I would never pay this much money and then accept a dealer's incompetence. Like Jason said, I'd demand a refund or a GUARANTEED 2500C replacement. If he knows you are serious, maybe he'll be sure to get you the right model this time.

Good luck, Omari!!!
