It'd be rude to reply in an unkind way!

In Response To: I'm sorry Pieter, but I don't think we understand… (Chicagoland Chuck Maddox)

Dear Chuck, thanks for the kind way in which you responded.

It'd make no sense to respond in an unkind way Pieter!

I really did not want to upset you gentlemen and I am sorry if I did.

You certainly did not upset us... Unfortunately, most American's are fairly mono-linguistic... I only speak, read and write English (with a lot of American slang), and I only know enough of certain other languanges (Spanish, French, German, Italian, etc.) to either a) locate the restroom or b) pick a fight! And Afrikans is an exotic language to us Yanks. I can't speak for the Germans, Dutch, Dane, Brits, among other nationality's who regularly view this site.

If you'd post your request in English, or German, Spanish, French, etc. Something that Bablefish translates... We will try to the best of our ability to answer your query!

Please forgive me!! Kind regards. Pieter Afrikaner

There is nothing to apologize for. But do repost your query/thoughts in a language we can understand/translate. We'd love to have a regular in .za! How is South Africa for finding vintage watches/chronographs?
