I have a 1980's 18ct gold bracelet Omega Constellation 3 dial which I have worn every day since I bought it in 1992. For years I wondered why one (always buttoned) cuff of my shirt got so dirty. Eventually I noticed that the enamel (I think it is) was wearing badly and cottoned on why. It got so bad that at a service I had it all taken off rather than re-enamelled. I think it actually looks better without, and I don't get the filthy cuffs either. The Constellation is wonderfully accurate.
