Hi Robert,
This is the first time I am using this site and will try to give you some answers on how to wind your watch from start.
1) Set your calender a the correct date and time.
2) Wind your watch 4-5 times, "if you are going to wear it emediatly". If not, as much as you wish to.All automatic watches has a slip spring on the end of the mainspring and not a hook that you would get in a non-autmatic. If you would like to wear the watch, put it on your arm and after 6 hours wear you will have maximum power reserve.
3) If you are not going to wear the watch, why would you what it to go? It is a meganism, not something that does need exersize. With the modern oils used today by Omega, it will last for a minimum of 5 years, atleast.
Hope it have answered some of your questions.
I have given some good explanation on all types of FAQ's on my web site. www.otws.co.za
