For those of you that think Rolex is superior in every aspect, a friend of mine just received a Ladies date just a few days ago as a gift and has to send it in for service because the automatic winding mechanism is broken. Not what you would expect from a watch that had a $8,000 plus price tag. Not to mention that the bracelet does feel like a cheap piece junk. This happened after I told her that the ladies auto caliber has one of the best COSC performances of any watch tested. Nice, but if you can't wind it, it won't work. Yeah, Rolex might be a manufacturer, but to pay what they want for watches just is not worth it, IMO. I personally will never buy a Rolex and will take an ETA based Omega over one any day. I would rather have two or three Omega's to one Rolex any day.
