For the answer to the NUMBER #1 most frequently asked question here--for details or value of a specific older Omega watch you have--go to: Tell Me About My Omega. | Learn more about How To Include Photos and HTML In Your Postings. | To contact someone with a question not relevant to other readers of the forum, please click on their email address and contact them privately. |
Not only does it kill the value of the watch but it is rather more the definition of an amateurish restoration rather than a true restoration. Restoration means putting the dial in its initial condition and not changing it by a luminova dial, something Omega never does with speedmaster /seamster 300 radium/tritium dials. I know some people who restore tritium and radium dials perfectly. Better buying something in pristine all original condition than something in average condition.
