The front didn't look any better.
In fact the only panel that I could reuse was the passenger side door !
I was dong about 110 mph when I lost it & bounced down a few barriers.
I sprained my wrist ( should have let go of the wheel ! ) & cut my nose ( flying glass, I should have had the visor shut ! ),
But thank good belts, a neck protector & a huge tyre wall, I & my seamaster survived to drive another day.
The car was scrapped after this one.
Actually, I guess the impact was reasonably minimal for the watch (it didn't actually hit anything), but I'm sure I subjected it to some ridiculous G-forces. It never missed a beat :-)
Kids, don't try this at home with daddys car !
