Thanks Steve:

Thanks for all the info. Yes i purchased the watch on ebay and picked up the watch on Wed. I think that it is a great watch and i think that this watch is undervalued.

Hi Brian,
Congrats on a great buy. I really like this styling of watch. ( I have a couple of the 70's Omega divers ). I agree about them being undervalued. But I don't have ALL the ones I want, so whilst I'm still buying undervalued is a GOOD thing :-)

Have you seen the earlier version that also looks great.

I'm not sure which model you mean. I'm only aware of 2 Cosmic divers. One with a date ( same as yours ) & one with a day/date. I really should do a comparison one day. Here are a couple of quick pics...

I will keep my eye open and get another one.

You can never have too many watches. ( well I can't anyway ). I tend not to buy "doubles", but If I see one at the right price......

If you are looking at buying another Omega Diver, feel free to ask. There is a wide range of Omega divers available from the 70's.

If you're serious you NEED to buy the only & BEST book on the subject.

Even though it's completely in Japanese, you can still glean lots of info from it. The calibres, case ref nos, dates, etc etc are all there.

Thanks for the info. Brian

you're welcome,

All the Best

Steve
