Re: Seamaster: Hard knocks ?

Agh!

I gotta say the gold on the subdials would have annoyed me enough to sort it!

It's not like getting service for the watch isn't expensive! At that right you better believe they need to get it right!

: I used to wear mine when I was doing shipping
: work and smashed it into one of the shelves.
: The bezel insert fell out and I had to have
: it glued back in (I eventually had it
: replaced as it was scratched up and it
: started to annoy me). And I used to play
: tennis with it on, hockey, rugby, all of my
: camping trips; hell, I even wore it when I
: jumped out of an airplane. I did have to
: take it off during Karate, but that was more
: because I was worried about damaging other
: people than damaging it. The worst I ever
: really did to it was wear it in the shower
: with the crown open (water got inside), but
: through all of that, she still runs great.
: If you look closely, you can see that my
: three chronograph circles are gold instead
: of silver, which is because the face was
: replaced at one time (and Omega replaced it
: with the wrong one; which annoys me, but not
: enough to get it replaced again yet) because
: of some of the water damage it took. But
: other than that, it's pretty hard to make
: her mad at me.
