Opinions on this vintage Railmaster?

Hi all,
I just started and I'm already deranged! To make a long story as short as possible somebody here or at Timezone suggested I check out Second Time Around Watch Co. in LA to service the 67 Speedmaster I just purchased. Looking at their site I saw this 63 Railmaster that I just had to go check out: case# 135 004 63 SC, movement# 20794994, calibre# 286. Dealer stated dial, crown and hands original, that the watch was as it came out of the factory. I came back a week later and pulled the trigger ($1750), somewhat secure in the fact that they seem to care about their reputation and offer a 7 day refund policy. (www.secondtimearoundwatchco.com)
I've only seen pics of earlier late 50's Railmasters, so if you are knowledgeable about these I would greatly value your opinion and appreciate feedback. The front of the lugs and the area on the back around the hippocampus appears to have a brushed satin look that doesn't quite look factory, looks a little new. Since the watch is very attractive this alone (if fact) doesn't bother me too greatly unless I am grossly overpaying and/or this will greatly affect the resale value. The area where the hippocampus is and the sides by the lugs do have a "deeper" brushed look that may be factory. The sides and bezel are shiny. The back of the lugs are also shiny, but showing some wear (scratches). The dial doesn't look quite like the pics of the 50's models I've seen, the numbers are a little different, as well as the script, etc. However without a pic of a known real 63 I am at a loss. What do you all think? I have until Thursday to make the deal final. (I've seen the inside of the case but no pics, I'm not confident enough in using my new case opener. It did have a dust cover that felt heavier than the Speedmaster's)
Thanks everybody!
Bernie
