Joining the Fray...
I find it odd that you apologized to the whole community (thanks by the way...) but then you started off on the wrong foot again by continuing to say the Omega is "second best." It pains me to hear that, especially from a person who just joined our ranks. It is clear the you are participating on an Omega forum, and it's clear the Rolex is not "the best" in any true watch enthusiast's book. People who truely enjoy watches appreciate lots of brands, not just one. We don't judge a watch solely on the logo that's stamped on the dial. We harbor a deeper affection and understandment. We all agree that Rolex is an excellent brand, don't get us wrong on that, but being the most well-known watch company doesn't warrant it "the best" label. I believe that you're comparing Omega and Rolex in a narrow-minded way. What about the other brands that even you mentioned??? Where do they fit??? Patek is negative 5th place? If I had the money, I wouldn't settle for a Rolex (your "best").
We all joined this forum to learn from newbies, experts, and peers; a diverse sea of people. I hope that you now have accomplished your goal and learned something new here.
