Actually, I have only been an "Omega nut" for about 3 1/2 years now. I got my first Omega for my 30th birthday back in 2002, and since then Omegas (and watches in general) just became my hobby.
In all honesty, though, most of what I know about Omegas I learned through this website. I learned the most from this website's late founder, Derek Ziglar, and Keith Downing (one of our moderators and a guy who should be an Omega Ambassador by now!!!). As a "newbie", I came to this site exclusively and learned as much as I could. Then later I started visiting other sites as well to complement what I learned here. Still, this was THE site that made me an Omega addict. If you keep coming here, Derek, I fear the same thing will happen to you....
