: I currently own an X33, which is in NJ for
: warranty work. I'm tempted by this
: seamaster, I am not a collecter, just
: looking for a good quality, light weight,
: reliable watch. Does anybody know of a watch
: maker in the San Francisco bay area who
: could do the necessary service on this
: watch? Since it is 12 years old, warranty

If you can't find a local watchmaker, you could always send the watch to Walter Gooden in Southern CA. Poeple have said nothing but good things about his work on this forum, and he is an authorized Omega service center. You can also call Omega at 1-800-766-6342 and they can give you a list of all US authorized service centers. This list won't include local, independent watchmakers, so if you can find a local one with a great reputation, that may be your best bet.
