: How many of you utilize a Watch Winder to keep

Jamie,
The models I am using now are the Sharper Image winders. I admit that the ones I bought were factory refurbished ones that I bought through The Sharper Image's ebay store, but they ended up costing me about half of the $100 retail price (even including shipping). They are dead-quiet and rotate the watch in a pendulum motion so that the watch is wound bi-directionally. The padded inserts also conform to the watch's bracelet or strap to give a perfect, secure fit.

The only downside is that the base models that I have run on batteries only (no AC adapter). However, they can run for 6-9 months on a set of batteries and still keep the watch fully wound.

The newer "deluxe" version has an AC adapter, but I think it's up to around $150 or so in price. If you go to ebay and use "shaper image watch winder" as your search term, you'll see a bunch of them, and when you checkout you actually do so through the Sharper Image Store where they take credit cards in addition to PayPal.
