In Derek's Memory

here in the United States, the last Monday in May is the Memorial Day holiday, when we remember those who died on service of the United States.

This year, Memorial Day falls on May 29, which also marks the one year anniversary of the death of Derek Ziglar. Derek created Chronocentric and operated the website (including this Discussion Forum) until his death; he also provided technical and creative services to OnTheDash, since its inception.

Here is a photo that shows Derek with a couple of his favorite things -- a Seamaster on his wrist and a "Westie" (West Highland White Terrier) on his lap.

Thanks to everyone who has contributed to Chronocentric and OnTheDash over the past year. It's a fitting memorial to Derek, and a tribute to his technical and creative skills, that we have been been able to keep this going.

Jeff
