there is a gold plated version & a solid gold version. It's a bit conufsing since the bothe have exactly the same case ref #.
I assume that the solid gold version also has a gold case back. ( whereas the gold plated version doesn't, it has a 'plain' stainless steel back )
Both came onto the market in 1972.
