Anyone out there with any suggestions for replacing the bracelet on an Omega De Ville Quartz, which utilizes a proprietary single-lug attachment? For those not familiar, the watch (395 0835) has one wide (13mm long) lug on each end of the case. The bracelet is fastened to the watch by sliding the end-link over this lug and installing a set-screw. The black finish on the bracelet has worn to the point that the bracelet is looking very shabby, so it should be replaced. Since Omega (neither US nor International) can not help with parts or replacement bracelets, does anyone have any suggestions for securing this watch to one’s wrist?
