I loved the 35th dial and hands but wanted a true display back.
So rather than spend the bucks for a 35th, I bought a "previously owned" 3572.50 (hesalite/sapphire) with the cal. 1863 "deluxe" movement. After a "face-lift" and some other restorative work, I ended up with this:
What you want is the display back from a 3572.50 that says "First Watch. . ." and not "First and Only. . ." as on the 3573.50. It will fit your 35th without need for a spacer. The only downside is that 1861 movement will still have the synthetic brake and lack the Geneva waves of the 1863.
Even so, the rear view will be improved.
