Re: Omega Speedmaster, Broad Arrow

: I bought a used but never worn Broad Arrow last
: year, and it has been one of the nicest
: watches I have ever owned. However, the 3303
: caliber movement has had some issues since
: it was introduced by Omega, so you'll want
: to ask the seller if the watch was ever
: serviced, if he ever had any problems with
: the chronograph functions (failure to reset,
: etc.), and exactly how old the watch is. The
: older movements had a higher incidence rate
: of reported problems, so if you can get one
: that is newer or still under warranty, this
: is your best bet.

John - the warranty is expired and the watch is 3 yrs old. Would this qualify as a "older movement"? The watch keeps time to a tolerance of 2 seconds per day.

As far as collectability, is this watch difficult to get, or can this be had upon any special order at an authorized dealer? Any millesimation numbers for the past 3 yrs to get an idea of production runs?

Thanks again in advance.
