I just finished reading all of your comments about Omega vs Rolex. I've been repairing watches for 35 years and just finished a training course at the swatch center in NJ for all coaxials and chronos. People are always asking me what watch to buy, my answer is always the same, whatever you like and can afford. So if you like the Rolex and can afford it, buy it. The same for Omega or any other brand. Whats inside is not important, both brands are tops in their class. The only thing I would say is important is the after sales service and there is no question in my mind that Omega will give you better service than Rolex. Thats not just my opinion but my personal experience with parts and service from all watch manufacturers.
