Buy Seamaster now or wait for new model?

Hello, I am new to this forum and forgive me if this has already been discussed, but I did not come across it im my scan.
I am about to buy the Seamaster Pro Mechanical. One store mentioned that there is a new design coming out in October which includes some slight design changes and some different movement technology, and an increase in price.
Can someone fill me in on the differences and if they are worth the extra money and the wait?
