Tony,
You and Harry sound as if you were under the impression that ALL the new models would be titanium. That is not true. Whoever gave you that idea was mistaken or you misunderstood them.
A FEW of the new models are in titanium. But most are still all steel or all gold.
Omega has made some versions of the Seamaster in titanium since the 1980's.
