The 2 year old Omega SMP (James Bond Model) I purchased from my golfing buddy was ticking in between 40-50 sec/day fast. I decided to have Omega Service Center in Manila check it. They decided to calibrate it for free and left me decide if its need servicing. Now its ticking 3-4 sec/day slow which is within COSC standards. At its face up position it loses 1-2 sec/day at its face down position it loses 10 sec/day. With normal wear it loses around 3-4 sec day. Would precision still improve if I decide to have the watch serviced? In my shoes would you guys have this watch serviced?
