I'm surprised they told you that. The 2254.50 used to come on a Bond bracelet when it was model 2054.50, so I know that the two bracelets are interchangeable. A gray market site called authenticwatches.com even sells the Bond SMP on the Speedy bracelet, but they give it a fake model number since Omega doesn't sell the watch this way.
