Your watch is well out of COSC specs, so it will be repaired under warranty if you still have any of its original 2 year warranty left (3 years if it is the Bond GMT 2535.80).
Before sending it back to Omega for repairs, I'd check to see if the watch has become magnetized. To check for magnetization, hold a compass over the caseback. If the compass needle moves, your watch has become magnetized. A competent watchmaker can fix this quickly and easily without even taking the watch apart.
