: Hello all. I´m having a friend buying me a SMP
: 2254.50.00 from the UN camp in Liberia. The
: price is 1230 USD which is more than
: reasonable. The watch is sold by Omega
: Denmark. But since I´m not there in person,
: what shall I tell him to think about when he
: receives the watch. Exactly what papers must
: be filled in? Pictures with examples would
: be nice. Maybe here´s a thread somewhere in
: the forum?
If the watch is brand new, it should come with:
1. White outer box
2. Red leather inner box
3. Red instruction manual
4. White card holder
5. International Warranty Card stamped by the authorized retailer with the model number and serial number filled in
6. Pictograms Card
7. Chronometer Certificate Card
8. Yellowish price "hang tag"
9. All extra links and accompanying pins and tubes if the bracelet is sized
The serial number of the watch will be an 8 digit number engraved on the back of the 7 o'clock lug. It may be difficult to read without a loupe or magnifying glass, but it should match all of the numbers on the accompanying cards.
