My opinion is that if you like the watch and it has sentimental value, send it to Omega in Bienne and have it overhauled. If you are not a watch "junkie", and you just want your watch to work, it would be cheaper and more meanigful to repair this one than to just neglect it. I'd even consider letting Omega replace the movement if needed.
