I've honestly never been on a motorcycle so I'm probably not the best person to answer this question. However, a similar question came up on another forum about mountain biking over rough terrain. The consensus was that it isn't a good idea to subject a mechanical watch to the bumps and shocks involved. Your watch has lots of tiny moving parts in it, so if any one of them is jarred out of alignment from a severe bump/shock, you may need a visit to the watch doctor.
With a motorcycle, you do have the added stress of the constant vibration being passed through your wrist onto the watch. So, I personally wouldn't risk damage to such an expensive timepiece. The 1120 movement in your 2254.50 doesn't have the free-sprung balance like the 2500C movement in the Planet Ocean, so its shock resistance probably isn't quite as good.
Keep in mind that I do tend to err on the side of "overly cautious", so if anyone here actually rides a motorcycle, maybe they can offer some more valuable input.
