Re: That's discouraging John. Sorry to hear it.

I've had an experience with Omega NJ also. My minute hand became detached from my Aqua Terra and I brought to the AD I purchased it from who send it to NJ. This was mid-March. The first 'update' was they were 'awaiting a parts shipment from Switzerland on April 20th, and would send the watch back 2 weeks later'. Well, mid-May comes, and it's failed QC testing. More parts ordered, the watch will be shipped mid-June. I call on 11 July and the watch is still failing QC testing - 'we'll have it ready by 20 July'. By this time I was, shall we say, livid, but helpless as I was off to Singapore for 2 weeks of customer handholding. The Saturday I got back, 31 July, it was finally at the AD's and promptly picked up by me after getting into SFO that morning. Is four months about 'right' for a fix like this? Or is Omega NJ full of the type you described? At least the watch looks OK - no 'extra' polishing done. BTW, the AD is no longer selling Omega - poor customer service and too much discounting on the web.
