Well, here I am, two months later, and I have no complaints.
One week after I dropped it off for running 18 sec fast/day, I got some paperwork saying:
"Watch found to have low amplitude, complete service under warranty"
So they basically rebuilt and refinished the watch and bracelet. I examined the watch under a microscrope and the hands are in good shape, there is no dust under the crystal, the band is installed correctly, etc.
After 1 week of timing on my wrist, it runs +2 sec/day. Perfect.Hope it settles in OK!
It took almost exactly 8 weeks for the service.
I can tell the band has been refinished because the matte brushing is SLIGHTLY different from original, but no one else would notice.
I'm pleased, though I understand Secaucus can be hit or miss, this job was performed without a hitch.
