When you have a seamaster serviced it is not only the movement that is serviced the case as well if you are a diver then I would always say have your watch service every year if you are a person that gets wet then every 3 years or if you are like me a beached whale then every 5 years. The service help prolong the life of your watch. This also goes for co-axles.
The fact that your watch is keeping time you auto mech could be faulty so don’t always think that the watch is fine because the time keeping is. I do agree this is a good sign
