NZL-32 or Black Magic, an International Americas Cup Class yacht, is the sister yacht of NZL-38. NZL-38 easily won all but one race of the Louis Vuitton Cup in San Diego, USA. However, Team New Zealand believed NZL-32 to be faster than NZL-38 and thus chose to use NZL-32 in the 1995 America's Cup match. NZL-32 went on to easily win the cup from the American defender Stars & Stripes in a 5-0 victory. NZL-32 remains unbeaten in an America's Cup race.
