Hi
The 564 is a chronometer movement and the 565 isn't. Quality of this movement is way above many modern movements, the 55x-56x-75x were and are the movement that are often referred as rolex 15x's calibres toughest competitors. Accuracy is excellent, reliability is excellent and power reserve excellent as well.
In the past, Omega was a 100% manufacture except for chono who were built by lemania (the top in terms of chrono movements).
Omega series of 1000, 1010, 1020 and 1030 calibres were some of the very best 28800bph movements built in their time and some as the greatest movements with their zenith 256x-257x and rolex 30xx competitors.
As far as I could remember the 55x-56x-75x was introduced in 1958 and more than 5 millions of them was built till the early 70's. You will find more in the link I enclosed.
good luck in your purchase
regards
georges
