I have quite a bit of different in preference. I have a small wrist too about 6.5 inches but I got myself a full-size SMP. I prefer BIG watch...I even considered full-size Brietling Navitimer; They are reall big! But I really like them. : ) Also, I prefer heavy watches.
For a light, smaller watch, I think Tag will offer more variety. Quartz usually lighter than automatic too. And I think Tag is more resistive to scratches in day to day activities, at least they can hide it better....Just my 2 cents.
Anyway, the process of looking for a watch that suit you can be fun. Don't hurry to buy until you find one. Have fun!
